Set to open in August 2019, Cure Day Hospital Wilgeheuwel is an 18-bed, 3-theatre hospital specialising in day procedures. Located in Gauteng, the hospital is the ninth facility in the Cure Day Group, which is also represented in the Free State and Western Cape. Hutz Medical supplied a range of products to Cure Day Hospital Wilgeheuwel, including Bedhead Service Systems (HU10-01), Pendant Service Systems (HU6-S1) and Theatre Control Panels (HU12-MAJ)....

St George’s Hospital in Port Elizabeth recently upgraded their Cardiac Theatre and installed a triple head state-of-the-art theatre light in the form of the Luvis L/L/L200. These light heads were all fitted with smart sensor technology to ensure maximum light output and reduce shadows while in use and proved to be the perfect solution for the hospital’s medical lighting needs....

An annual event held at Gallagher Estate in Johannesburg, the Africa Health Expo had more than 560 local and international exhibitors from 39 countries exhibiting during the week. More than 10 000 healthcare professionals attended the exhibition this year as the expo continues to grow year-on-year in both visitors and popularity....

Servicing the surrounding local communities of the Western Cape, Melomed Mitchell’s Plain is a 132-bed hospital forming part of the Melomed Group. The hospital houses 32 specialists and provides care in a range of service disciplines including Radiology, Pathology, Physiotherapy, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

The hospital recently upgraded their Emergency Room and High Care Unit, with Hutz providing Pendants (HU8-F, HU5-FT2-01), Bedhead Service Systems (HU21-01, HU21-02 and HU21-07) as well as various Attachments, to the project. ...
